RESPONSE TO GENERIC LETTER 89-04, BIG ROCK POINT By memo dated March 8, 1990, NRR Project Managers were requested to provide I
.information on the status of licensee response and conformance to Generic Letter 89-04, " Guidance on Developing Acceptable Inservice Testing Program."
- For Big Rock Point,.the date of the licensee response to the Generic Letter is September 29, 1989.
No new relief requests were submitted with the response;
[.
- however, the licensee did provide a complete listing of the current relief requests applicable to Big Rock Point's IST program, including changes made since the previous June 24, 1988 submittal to assure conformance with the positions stated in GL 89-04.
No extension requests were made in the response; however, two proposed changes reflected procedure development and implementation.
A subsequent call to the licensee confirmed that these changes would be completed by March 1, 1990.
- Written. verification was received by letter dated February 13, 1990.

A closeout letter for this issue was sent to the licensee on December 21, 1989.
