Dear Ms. Robertson:
Pleano consider this letter a request for documents as provided by U.S. statute and N.R.C. rules and regulations under the Freedom of Information Act.
The documents being sought pertain to decommissioning confirmatory surveys at Texas Instruments in Attleboro performed by N.R.C. employees and contractor s.
Spec i f ic al l y, it is requested that the following documents be placed in the N.R.C. 's Public Document Room for inspection and reproductions
- 1. All field notes, laboratory analyses and documents relating to external radiation levels and radionuclide concentrations found in soil, water or surface areas during Region ! Inspection 84-01 conducted at the Texas Instruments Facility in Attleboro, Massachusetts on 4/2-18/84 and 5/21-25/04, NRC document accension number 8407110452, date 840615. The documents being sought in this area should specifically include all sampling information f rom on site test bor ings.
- 2. One copy of the final report prepared by Oak Ridge Associated University entitled " Radiological Survey of the Texas Instruments Site, Attleboro, Massachusetts," prepared under 4
contract to the N.R.C. by L.L. Sowell of 0.R.A.U.,
dated January, 1985.
- 3. One copy of final survey results of aerial radiological survey performed in Attleboro, Massachusetts under auspices of U.S.
N.R.C., Texas Instruments decommissioning. (1979 or 1980)
