CIRCUIT BREAKERS
Reference:
TVA letter to NRC dated November 28, 1989, "Sequoyah Nuclear Plant (SQN) - NRC Bulletin 88-10, Nonconforming Molded-Case
-Circuit. Breakers" Thistletter proposes a revision in the implementation schedule for molded-case circuit breaker replacement.
The schedule requirements were provided in the subject bulletin, and TVA's commitments were-submitted in the referenced
. letter -
For Unit 1, TVA: Will complete the replacement of the first half of th.e
-breakers:60 days after restart from the_ Unit 1 Cycle 4 refueling outage...This extension is necessary since delayed breaker delivery has precluded-the-
'complet. ion ~of.preoutage replacements as scheduled.
The balance of the imolded-caseicircuit breaker replacements-will be' completed as described in the
-referenced letter.

y The revised commitment is contained'in-the enclosure. To finalize outage planning, NRC's concurrence with the 60-day extension is requested as quickly as possible.
