TRACKING DOCUMENT (CATD) 223.03-SQN-01 In-accordance with the' letter from R. L. Gridley to NRC dated July 6, 1988,.

TVA committed to notify NRC of significant deviations to CAPS resulting from the Employee-Concerns Special Program (ECSP).

The' approved CAP postrestart actions for CATD 223.03-SQN-01 are (1)'obtain a list of safety-related instruments required for Unit I and Unit-2,-(2) identify and verify existing design approved mounting schemes, (3) perform a seismic qualification documentation search for each instrument, and (4) initiate a Condition-Adverse to Quality Report if a design approved mounting drawing cannot be identified, or if an instrument is not installed per the design approved mounting drawing, or if the seismic qualification documentation is not found or is not adequate.

A1'ter further review, in addition to completing the currently approved CAP '

action TVA has decided to revise the CAP to provide the means for long term control of.this issue as well through the use of new approved procedures.. The procedures will' ensure that the database'for these actions will.be maintained

.for the life of the plant.

The revised commitment is to (1) initiate procedures to implement the Vendor Selsmic Qualification Documentation Retrieval Program and (2) initiate procedures to implement ER-SQN-EEB-001, Instrument and' Instrument line installation and inspection specification.

This CAP deviation has undergone a final review and approval by the TVA Employee Concerns Special Program in accordance with Nuclear Power Standard 1.4.90.
