Subject:
Letter Contract No. NRC-04-90-052 Entitled, " Scale Effects and Uncertainties in Characterizing Fluid Flow and Contaminant Transport Around High-level Radioactive Waste Repositories in Fractured Tuffaceous Rocks" The subject Letter Contract was effective November 13, 1989.
It was anticipated by the parties that a definitive contract would be executed on or before December 1, 1989 (or by subsequent date mutually agreed upon in writing).
Pursuant to the terms of the letter Contract, it is hereby muturilly agreed that the definitization date shall be extended from Cecember 1, 1989 to December 8, 1989.
The amount obligated by the Commission with respect to this contract remains at $12,750.00 and represents the maximum liability to the Commission in the event of failure to reach agreement on a definitive contract. All other terms and conditions of the letter Contract shall remain in effect.
Enclnsed are two (2) copies of this letter which represents the supplemental agreement of the p6rties.
