REVIEW OF THE WEST VALLEY DISPOSAL PLANT (WVDP)
- i SITE CLOSURE DOCUMENTS As'a follow-up to the January 30, 1990, Division meeting that established an April 1, 1990, date for the completion of the Division's review of the three site closure documents for the WVDP; I have established some intermediate milestone dates to ensure completion of this review by April 1, 1990.
I have also 3rovided.a standard format for the questions and comments.
This format will 1elp expedite the review and meet the agreed to milestone.
During the February 13, 1990, site visit at the WVDP, the review of the site closure documents was discussed with William Bixby. Mr. Bixby was agreeable to the April 1,1990, date for completion of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission z(NRC) review and stressed the significance of having NRC's comments on these documents.
The' intermediate milestones and standard format, which are attached, will ensure that NRC's review will be completed on schedule.
