SUMMARY

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCES I

.At1the beginn ng of the month the unit was at 100% power.

L.OniJcnuary 9th, the unit was reduced to 76% power to retrieve dropped 1

j.? rod No. 54.

The unit remained at that power level to perform turbine

'valvo and excess flow check valve testing and circ water box cleaning.

iRTho unit increased in power _and stabilized at 93% while symetric offset incroased to above the lower limit.

The unit was returned to 100% power E on January. loth.

the unit was manually shutdown to perform stroke test-.

l~0n Jcnuary 15th, l -irg:of the SCC non-cafeguards isolation valve (SCC-A-460) to verify its operability. On January 16th, the unit was returned to power operations.

l On January 17th, the unit was returned to 100% power.

Power was at L 100% for-the remainder of the month.
