NUCLEAR REGULAT01Y COMMISSIONERS SCHEDULE SEABROOK BRIEFING The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has scheduled a public briefing at-9:00 a.m., January 18 as part of its consideration of a full power license for the Seabrook Nuclear Power Plant.

The briefing will be held at the Commission's offices at Rockville, MD.

The Commission will hear presentations from its staff and from Public Service Company of New Hampshire on the readiness of the Seabrook plant to operate at full power.

The Commission is considering whether to permit a licensing board's decision authorizing a full power license to become effective.

The Commission will not vote on the matter at this meeting. Another meeting will be scheduled later to vote on a decision.

In reaching its decision the Commission will consider the comments-already filed with it by parties to the proceeding.
