Dear Mr. Denton:

wD The applications for construction permits and operating licenses for Byron Station Units 1 and 2 and Braidwood Station Units 1 and 2, docketed September 20, 1973, are hereby amended by submittal of Amenament 35 pursuant to Section 50.34 of 10 CFR 50.

Amendment 35 to the Byron /Braidwood FSAR consists of responses to questions from the Structural Engineering Branch (130 series) and the Hydrological Engineering Branch (271 series).

Also included are revised responses to Questions 031.42, 130.20, 130.38, 212.15', 212.156, 221.7, 221.11, 331.2'4 and voluntary text changes.

In addition, Amendment 35 contains revisions to Chapter 7 and Appendix A which resolve open agenda items with the Instrument and Control. Systems Branch.

Attachment A to this letter lists questions answered in this amendment.

Attachment B lists the questions that will be answered in future amendments.

Three (3) signed originals and fif ty-seven (57) copies of this amendment are submitted for your review and approval.
