20555 July 17, 1981 Dear Sir; Pursuant to the Freedom of Infonnation Act as amended (5 U.S.C. 522),
I hereby request copies of the following: all manuals, books, films, pamphlets, and other materials used in the NRC-sponsored seminar " Techniques for Managing Public Meetings," held in Washington, D.C. in March,1981. This seminar dealt with techniques to successfully conduct public meetings concerning radiolog-ical emergency planning.
Also, I request copies of all manuals, books, films, pamphlets, and other materials used in the Radiological Emergency Response Course, held at the I.as Vegas and Mercury test sites in April,1981. This seminar covered procedures and techniques for responding to accidents involving nuclear materials.
We are interested in this material for our research cn training of emergency planning officials.
As provided in your regulations implementing the Freedom of Information Act, please notify me if the estimated cost incurred exceeds $25.00. I look forward to your response within 10 working days.
