Big Rock Point Plant October 15,.1981-
.pr4viding an on-shift HP-Rad / Chem technician at Big Rock Point. Consumers Power Company committed to provide an on-shift HP-Rad / Chem technician by November i
'982 as identified in our. July 9,1981 response to NUREG-0737, Item I.A.1.s.
Accelerated staffing and training efforts have enabled current health physics staff compliment to ptovide the on-shift coverage although shift relief during periods of absences and vacations will. necessitate consi-derable amounts of overtime.. Continued efforts will be applied to provide for a full Health Physics. staff complement. However,.during the interim, Consumers Power Company believes that the intent of the Confirmatory Action Letter can best be fulfilled with a qualified on-shift'HP-Rad / Chem technician.
Therefore, effective since October 12, 1981, an on-shift HP-Rad / Chem techni-clan is providing the necessary radiation protection coverage.
