Enclosed herewith is one of the many bulletins I have received with my\\ O monthly electric bill from Pet-Ed.
It appears that Met-Ed, thru these various bulletins, is trying to convince me that it may be the fault of the Nuclear Regulatory Ccmmission, the Penna.
Public Utility Commission and myself. By no means should the electric ecmpany be responsible and pay for their own mistakes!!!
With respect to this enclosed bulletin, I would like to note tie following in the same order as presented.
The two stace increase in the base rcte portion of the electric bills:
1-The base rate of my electric bill is 7% of the total bill - the extra
- a. charges relate to percentages or cost per k-A, therefore the gobbledy-gook about the increase per day for those with or without electric water heaters means nothing.
The t :o stace increase evidently consists af supplement (5) for 13.T5
- b. and supplement (6) for A1.9%, making a total of 55.6%. I a sume both 29, 1981. In other trords these recuests are for service effective August en the effective date the increase wculd scount to 55.6% (5 times the inflation rate).
The two stage increase (after reflecting associated reductions in energy 2-charges) - Are these the same extra charecs relating to percentages orand are now being re costs per kwh shown on the current electric bi:19 I've enclosed a chart centaining what infcmation I could get frc= the 3-etc. are all mixed up - please en-bulletin and find the apples, peache:5, l
lighten me. I also request that,tu on the Public Utility Comm. demand that
- -:et-Ed present their custcmcr.s with a clear-cut and definite proposal cf the new rates.
the insinuation that the custcmers should pay a pertion of Furthermore, the decent mination costs, because it's a task vital to public health & *y, stinks. :let-2d had the accident, not the public!!!
3 Forscnally, I car.not understand <:hy an-r nuclear plant was allowed to the P.U.C. '0109:s the G) 5 operate without the waste problem being re cived. 3urt'.;
