By letter, dated September 30, 1981, a member of the Palmetto Alliance provided a copy of a recently published article in the Journal of Geophysical Research concerning the Charleston Earthquake for the board's consideration. A preprint of this article by L. Seeber and J. G. Arubruster, and the hypothesis advanced therein, was considered by the Staff and the U. S. Geological Survey in the February,1981 Safety Evaluation Report dt pages 2-33 through 2-35 and Appendix E (See references).
