This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by Mr. J. R. Mullauer of.this office on September 17 and 18, 1981, of activities authorized by NRC Byproduct Material License No. 13-17124-01 and to the discussion of our findings with you and Roger Robinson at the conclusion of the inspection.
The inspection was an examination of activities conducted under your license as they relate to radiation safety and to compliance with the Commission's rules and regulations and with the conditions of your license. The inspec-tion consisted of a selective examination of procedures and representative records, observations, indeperdent measurements, and interviews with personnel.
In addition to the above areas, the inspectors examined actions described in letter dated July 12, 1978, regarding corrective action taken on one apparent item of noncompliance found during our May 12, 1978 inspection of License No. 13-17124-01.
We have no further questions regarding this matter.
During this inspection, certain of your activities appeared to be in non-compliance with NRC requiremer.ts, as specified in enclosed Appendix A.
A written response, submitted urc'er oath or affirmation, is required.
We will gladly discuss any quest ions you have concerning this inspection.
