Transmittal of Safety / Relief Valve (SRV) Operability Test Report for Vermont Yankee
Dear Sir:
In response to NUREG 0737 Item II.D.1, this letter provides the final test results demonstrating the operational adequacy of the S/RV's for Vermont Yankee. These results are contained in NEDE-249F.3-P, " Analysis of Generic BWR Safety / Relief Valve Operability Test Results" which was submitted to the NRC via Reference (b).
Vermont Yankee is a participant in the BWR Owners Group generic S/RV operability test program.
Vermont Yankee emp1r rs S/RVs manufactured by Target Rock, Model No. 67-F.
The applicability of the deneric test results to our S/RV's has already been demonstrated in Reference (c).
A review of the final test report shows that the operational adequacy of the S/RV's for Vermont Yankee has been demonstrated for the conditions defined in Item II.D.l.
The submittal ~of NEDE-24988-P and this letter satisfy the October 1,1981 submf ttal requirement of Item II.D.1 of NUREG 0737.
