ORDER RESCHEDULING EVIDENTIARY HEARING NS' At the Prehearing Conference in this proceeding held on Ju

^

the Applicant, Detroit Edison Company, proposed March 2,1982 as the appro-priate date for beginning the evidentiary hearing. The other parties concurred.

The parties also agreed upon February 8, 1982 as the date for filing written testimony.

In response to a suggestion from the Board, however, the parties agreed to move the hearing date forward to December 1, 1981, provided that the members of the Board were available on that date, and provided that additional testimony on one contention might be heard in April or May of 1982 l

if the parties were not able to present evidence on that contention by Deceinber 1.

In our Order Following Prchearing Conference on August 4,1981,

').

we set December 1,1981 as the date for the evidentiary hearing.

Because of a change in the workload of one of the members of the Board, )[D it now appears that that member will not be available on December 1.

Accord-ingly, we move the hearing date back to March 2, 1982, originally proposed by l

the Applicant. This change in the hearing date will not affect the operation of the facility; the most recent estimate of Applicant's construction schedule shows that the facility will not be completed until November of 1982.

2 In light of the above, the schedule for the balance of this proceeding (as stated in our Order Fcilowing Prehearing Conference of August 4,1981) 1 is changed as follows:

1.

Written testimony shall be filed on February 8,1982. The Applicant shall send a messenger to CEE in ordcr to take delivery of CEE's testimony.

2.

The evidentiary hearing will begin on March 2, 1982.

j On that day a final prehearing conference will be held before the beginning of the evidentiary hearing. The location and hour of the hearing will be announced in a further order.
