STAFFREQUIREMENTS-DISC (SjIONANDPOSSIBLEV0TEONOPERATING LICENSE FOR SEQUOYAH UNIT 2, 2:05 P.M., TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 8, 1981, COMMISSIONERS' CONFERENCE ROOM, D.C. OFFICE (OPEN TO PUBLIC ATTENDANCE)
The Comission was briefed by staff and by Mr. L. Mills (TVA) on the status of review of items since issuance on June 25, 1981, of a low-power license for Sequoyah-2 as contained in memoranda from W. Dircks to the Comission dated August 17 and September 3,1981.
The Comission, by a vote of 5-0, authorized the Director, NRR, to issue a full-power operating license for Sequoyah Unit 2.

The Chairman noted that the authorization carried with it the understanding that staff would immediately bring to the attention of the Commission any matter occurring during power ascension that would modify the Commission's actions.
