QA Program Applicability to Safety-Related Masonry Walls This is in response to a request made of H.

B. Perkins of 7111nois Power by D. C. Jeng of the NRC Structural Engineering Breach (SEB) during the NRC Structural Audit conducted at Sargent & Lundy offices on September 15-18, 1981.

A quality assurance program which meets the applicable criteria of 10CFR50 Appendix B has been and will continue to be applied to the design and construction of safety-related masonry walls at CPS.

Masonry block walls have been added as Item XXXV. 15 of Table 3.2-1 of the CPS FSAR as part of Amendment 7 which will be submitted by September 30, 1981.

If additional information is required, or if I can be of further assistance, please advise.
