Dear Mr. Denton:
Attached is Amendment No. 57 to the LaSalle County Station Units 1 and 2 Final Safety Analysis Report.
This Amendment transmits responses to two (2) second round questions, revised responses to ten (10) second round questions and voluntary text revisions addresssing some of the open issues that have been discussed previously with your staff.
One item of particular significance is the material pertaining to " replacement training" contained in the revision to Section 13.2.
This material is being provided to resolve an open issue with the Region III Office of Inspection and Enforcement.
To the best of my knowledge and belief, the statements contained in the attached Amendment are true and correct.
In some respects these statements are not based on my personal knowledge but upon information furnished by other Commonwealth Edison employees and consultants.
Such information has been reviewed in accordance with Company practice and I believe it to be reliable.
Three (3) signed originals and fifty-seven (57) copies of this amendment are submitted for your review and approval.
