The following information is submitted in response to I&E Bulletin 81-02, Supplement 1,
" Failure of Gate Type Valves to Close Against Differential Pressure."
A review of our records indicates that Plant Hatch does not have any of the valves referenced in the subject bulletin supplement, either in service or as replacement parts.
In accordance with item 2 of the bulletin supplement, no further response is required.
As information, we estimate that 8 man-hours were required to review and prepare the bulletin response.
