Dear Mr. Oppenheim:
This is in reply to your letter dated July 17, 19'81, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, a copy of a list of individuals, corporations, and state agencies involved with nuclear waste processing and fusion power research and demonstration.
You stated in your request that the list should be compiled from relevent portions of the data base available in list form from the NRC's Document Management Branch in Bethesda, Maryland.
In response to your request, we have prepared copies of four lists identified on Appendix A.
A copy of each list is enclosed.
The list produced as Appendix A item 4 was derived from information maintained on computer tape, and the cost to produce this printed list is $37.94.
This cost represents the actual cost which will be charged to the NRC by its contractor for producing this list, and no charge will be made by the NRC for processing your overall request.
Your check for $37.94 should be made payable to the "U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission," and forwarded to me along with a copy of this letter.'
With respect to your second request, we have not located any information on the involvement of State agencies in " Fusion Power Research and Dcmonstra tion."
This completes our action on your request.
