Dear Mr. Gallagher:
This is in reply to your letter dated August 16, 1981,-in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, documents concerning (1) the radioactive debris from Russia's Cosmc3 954 satellite that disintegrated over Canadian territory in Jaroary 1978; (2) releasable data on storage, stockpiling and types of nuclear weapons and systems, and (3) NRC fact sheets and photographs of NRC activities.
We~ have not located any documents subject to items one and two of your request.
With respect to item three of your request, we note that with nty letter dated December 3,1980, we previously sent you a copy of the NRC's 1979 Annual Report, and "An Outline History of Nuclear Regulation and Licensing, 1946-1979," prepared by Dr. George T. Mazuzan, NRC Historian, and Roger R. Trask.
Enclosed herewith we are sending you copies of the NRC's Annual Reports for 1978 and 1980, and a copy of a bocalet titled: "Ci tizen 's Guide to U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Information."
This completes our action on your request.
