Dear Mr. Keppler:

Reference (a) requested the Commonwealth Edison Company to review the subject bulletin supplement for applicability to our operating stations and report the results within thirty (30) days.

This letter is provided to fulfill this thirty (30) day requirement for our Dresden, Quad Cities and Zion Statioris.

In addition, this latter also provides the requested sixty (60) day report for our LaSalle County Station.

Commonwealth Edison has reviewed Supplement 1 to I.E.

As stated in Reference (b), one spare valve of the Westinghouse EMD 4-inch type is maintained as a spare at Zion.

This valve was placed in the Q.A. hold area and will not be used unless it is qualified for its intended service.
