'...w APPENDIX A NOTICE OF VIOLATION Hississippi Power and Light Company Docket No. 50-416 Grand Gulf 1 License No. CPPR-118 As a result of the inspection conducted on July 7-10, 1981, and in accordance with the Interim Enforcement Policy, 45 FR 66754 (October 7,1960), the following violation was identified.
10 CFR 50, Appendix B, Criterion V as implemented by Section 17.1.5.2 of the PSAR requires that activities affecting quality be prescribed by docu-mented instructions, procedures or drawings...and shall be accomplished ir l
accordance with those instructions, procedures or drawings.
Bachtel con-I struction procedure WP/P-4, Document Control, Revision 7, requires that the.
latest revision of controlled documents as shown in the Bechtel master l
document log, be issued.
l Contrary - to.the above, the requirement t-) issue the latest revision of con-trolled documents was not met in that 6 of 7 controlled drawings reviewed

in a controlled area were from 1 to 3 revisions behind that shown in the l
Bechtel master document log.
This is a Severity Level V Violation (Supplement II.E).
Pursuant to the provisions of 10 CFR 2.201, you are hereby required to submit to this office within thiri.y days of the date of this Notice, a written statement or explanation in reply, including: (1) admission or denial of the alleged viola-tion; (2) the reasons for the violation if admitted; (3) the corrective steps which have been taken and the results achieved; (4) corrective steps which will be taken to avoid further violations; and (5) the date when full compliance will be achieved. cause shown.
