Technical. Specification Revision for Snubber Surveillance Pursuant to Section 50.59 of the Commission': Rules and Regulations, Yankee Atomic Electric Company hereby proposes the following amendment to Appendix A of the Facility License.
PROPOSED CHANGE:
This change modifies the Inservice Surveillance requirements for snubbers.
The revised pages are provided as an attachment to this letter.
REASON FOR CHANGE:
This change, as requested by the USNRC, incorporates the applicable portions of the revised Standard Technical Specifications which clarifies and improves the surveillance requirements for snubbers.
BASIS FOR CHANGE:
The modifications to our Technical Specifications are based on the description of the surveillance requirements for snubber s as described in Reference (2).
SAFETY CONSIDERATION:

The proposed Technical Specification modificatior.s will not endanger the health and safety of the public. This proposed change has been reviewed by the Nuclear Safety Audit and Review Committee.
