Enclosed are six copies of the Physical Security Plan for the University of Florida SPERT Assembly (UFSA) licensed under SNM-1050, in compliance with 10 CFR 73 requirements.
The UFSA is presently undergoing modifications authorized under Amendment No. 4 to the license, dated May 28, 1981, which also extends the license to July 31, 1983. The modifications are to improve the physical security of the fuel storage area. The physical security improvements are expected to be completed by September 30, 1981.
Existing physical security systems will be maintained until the new systems are installed.
