This is in response to your TWX dated July 17, 1981 requesting a ten day extension to reconcile the physical inventory of low enriched uranium started on June 24, 1981.
We have detemined that your request is within the intent of 10 CFR 70.51(e) and that it will not endanger the common defense and security and is other-wise in the public interest.
Therefore, notwithstanding the reautrements of 10 CFR 70.51(e)(4), the licensee shall comply with the requirements of 10 CFR 70.51(e)(4)(1) through (v) for the June 24, 1981 physical inventory by August 3,1981.
