This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by Mr. W. P. Reichhold of this office on July 15, 1981, of activities authorized by NRC Byproduct Material License No. 24-12728-01 and to the discussion of our findings with you and Mr. James W. Hogan at the conclusion of the inspection.
The inspect. ion was an examination of activities conducted under your license as they relate to radiation safety and to compliance with the Commission's rules and regulations and with the conditions of your license. The inspec-tion consisted of a selective examination of procedures and representative records, observations, independent measurements, and interviews with personnel.
We understand based on discussions with you at the exit meeting, that you will calibrate your G-M survey meter at least annually. Regulatory Guide 10.7 is enclosed for your information.
Tais inspection also included a review of the actions described in your letter dated May 9,1978, regarding the apparent it am of noncompliance identified during our December 9, 1977, inspection. We have no further questions regarding this matter.
