2) RLTEDESCO LETTER TO JWCOOK DATED JUNE 18, 1981 ENCLOSURE: FIGURE 1 LOCATION OF BACKUP INTERCEPTOR WELLS Our construction of the backup interceptor dewatering wells has progressed to a point which requires your concurrence on the final eight wells. As you recall, we deferred installation of these wells pending additional soil samples as requested in your June 18, 1981 letter.

We have completed drilling pilot holes at the location of relocated permanent Backup Wells F-1, F-5 and F-7 as well as at the locations of permanent Backup Wells G-7 and G-8 (Figure 1).

A sufficient thickness of sand was encountered at each location for well installation. The results of representative grain size analysis indicate the design gravel pack material is compatible with the material to be screened. Therefore, we request permission to proceed with the installation of the eight relocated permanent backup wells designated as G-9 l

and F-1 through F-7.
