Before receiving responses to that motion from the l

other parties, we desire to have a full explanation of the rea-l l

sons why the Board believes it necessary to invoke the assistance of independent consultants on the seismic issues presented in this proceeding (which assistance we understand will include the l

testimony of some or all of those consultants as Board witnesses).

Because the ataff's motion obviously should be acted upon expedi-l l
