E"PEDITED ISSUANCE OF IMPORT LICENSE FOR EDl0W INTERNATIONAL COMPANY - ISNM 81014 I
On July 21,.1981 Edlow International Company requested a license to import 1850 kilograms of. uranium enriched to'2.60% U-235 from Sweden.
The applicant has requested, on several occasions, that issuance of the license be expedited. Shipment to the U.S. has been scheduled for the first week of August 1981.
l The staff believes that the !icense may be issued without the normal delay for public input to the licensing process under regulations per-

mitting exception for such ourpose.
Material of this type, in great quantities, move into and around the U.S. regularly with no undue risks.
Therefore, the staff believes the issuance of this license on an urgent basis will not affect the public's rights significantly.
