SUBJ:
FINDINGS RELATED TO THE PROPOSED IMPORT OF LOW-ENRICH BY THE SWUC0 INVENTORY STORAGE C0. - ISNM81013
.On June 23, 1981 SISCO submitted an application for a license authorizing the import of 5,610 kilograms of uranium enriched to 2.39% U-235 from Germany. The material will be packaged in approved, type 30B UF6 cylinders and delivered to a Department of Energy enrichment plant.
This' request is essentially the same as previous requests to import low-enriched UF, for example, ISNM780017 and ISNM81001, and represents no 6
material cFange in circumstances frrm conditions and findings which existed at the time of the earlier imports. The import does not present an undue risk to health and safety or to the environment and will not be inimical to the common defense and security. The staff recommends this license be issued.
