Maine Yankee Security Force Training and Qualification Plan

Dear Sir:

Thank you for your comments on the subject plan in Reference (b).

The comment (#1.4.2.1) on additional tasks to be specified for the CAS operator will be addressed in the near future as part of a general revision of the security, security contingency, and training and qualification plans necessary to accomodate minor organizational changes attributable to changes to the Technical. Specifications and to employment of a new security contractor.

These changes will not require prior NRC review and approval.

Our response to the remainder of your comments are included in attachment A and revision 2 of the plan, attachment B dated July 31, 1981.

Following tEC approval, the plan will be incorporated into the Security Plan as Section 1.4 by means of a Security Plan revision pursuant to 10CFR50.54(p) not requiring prior NRC review and approval.

This information is considered proprierary and shall be withheld from public disclosure pursuant to 10CFR Part 2.790.
