Amendment No. 30 to License Stim-1067 was issued on June 29,1981, in response to your November.10, 1980, (revised May 1, 1981) application for amendment. Accompanying your application was an amendment fee of
$1.400.
Amendment No. 30 authorizes possession of U-235 in the form of wastes having enrichments up to 93%. As a result, a new fee Category 1G has been added to License Slim-1067.
Footnote 1(d) of 10 CFR 170.31 (enclosed) specifies that an application for amendment that would place the license l
in a higher fee category or add a new fee category shall be accompanied j
by the prescribed fees for the new category.
Footnote 4 specifies that the fee for the review would be based on the actual manpower expended.

We have reviewed the manpower expenditures required for the review of l
the subject application, and the actual review cost is $3,097 (81.5 hours5.787037e-5 days <br />0.00139 hours <br />8.267196e-6 weeks <br />1.9025e-6 months <br /> x $38/ hour). Therefore, an additional fee of $1,697 is due for the amendment (3,097 less $1.400). Payment should be made to the U, NRC and S
