Dear Mr. Stolz:
This is in response to Mr. D. G. Eisenhut's letter dated May 4, 1981 concerning " Qualification of Inspection, Examination, and Testing and Audit Personnel" (Generic Letter 81-01) for Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station Unit No. 1 NPF-3.
Generic Letter 81-01 requested a review of regulatory positions C.5,6,7,8, and 10 of Regulatory Guide 1.58, (Revision 1), "Qualifi-cation of Nuclear Power Plant Inspection, Examination, and Testing Personnel," and Regulatory Guide 1.146 (August, 1980), " Qualification of Quality Assurance Program Audit Personnel for Nuclear Power Plants" and an expected date o' compliance. Toledo Edison currently expects to meet this position on or before April 1, 1982.
