The Berks Area Energy Advisory Council at its monthly meeting on Friday, July 31st approved the following Resolution:
The Council recommends authorizing a resumption of operation of this facility and urges the NRC to promptly rule that TMI-l be re-started without undue delay. The Pennsylvania rate payers serviced by TMI-l are payinc,
.3 million a month for energy to replace the power lost at the u damaged facility, and if TMI-1 is returned to service, it will si;alficantly reduce the rapidly rising energy costs being absorbed by the customers of the owners of this facility.
