In a Board Notification Memorandum, dated July 28, 1981, the NRC Staf f alerted the Board that the Office of Inspection and Enforce-ment had initiated an investigation into reported similarities in answers provided by different individuals taking the written portion of the NRC operators license examination in April.
I enclose for the information of the Board and the parties a let te r sent today from Licensee's Mr.
R.
C. Arnold to Mr. Victor Stello, Jr.,
Director of NRC's Of fice of Inspection and Enforcement, reporting the termination of employment of a licensed operator at TMI-1, as a result of Licensee's evaluation of information relatad to this matter.
By way of further infc mation for the Board and parties, this individual and the second individual referred to in Mr. Arnold's letter were two of the six shift supervisors among the twenty individuals who sat for the NRC's SRO examination in April.
