Dear Mr. Seyfrit:
The interim report for Significant Construction Deficiency No. 28 was submitted to the NRC via above reference. In the report, we indicated that corrective action would be accomplished and a Final Report submitted by July 31, 1981.
We have been notified by Tompkins-Beckwith that the repair of the subject welds is now scheduled to be completed by September 15, 1981. Based on this information, the final report for Significant Construction Deficiency No. 28 will be submitted to the NRC by September 30, 1981.
