This refers to the safety inspection conducted by Mr. D. B. Spitzberg of this office on June 17, 1981, of the activities authorized by NRC Byproduct Naterial License 11-15946-01 and to the discussion of our findings held by the inspector with members of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
The inspection was an examination of the activities conducted under the license as they relate to radiation safety and to compliance with the l
Commission's rules and regulations, and the conditions of the license. The inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative I
records, interviews of personnel, independent measurecents and observations by the inspector.
I No violations of NRC requirements were found during the inspection.
Mr. Spitzberg also reviewed the action you had taken with respect to L
one violation observe.d during our previous inspection, which was conducted l
March 26-27, 1979. He verified that the corrective action with respect to this item was implemented as stated in your reply of April 16, 1979, to our letter dated April 10, 1979.
