RE: RE: NASA Inspection Report - NRC Date: Thursday, January 09, 2020 10:32:00 AM Dr. Angel Plaza, Your request today for an extension of the due date provided to NASA in the NRCs December 16, 2019, letter and inspection report (NRCs Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession Number ML19351D412) is granted. The new due date to provide a written response to the NRC as outlined in the December 16, 2019, letter is January 24, 2020.
Please be aware that in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRCs Agency Rules of Practice and Procedure, a copy of these emails will be made available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room and from the NRCs Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS), accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html.

[External_Sender] RE: NASA Inspection Report - NRC Jason, Because of the Holiday Season, the final report was received at my office at HQ until late December. Also with so many people on personal leave we may need a few extra days to send you the response. Per your report, NASAs response is due back to you by January 16th. We are hoping that you allow us to send you our response back to you by January 24th. If you need me to send you a formal request, please let me know. We really only had 1 1/2 days to look at the attached report before most people at NASA were gone on Holiday leave.
If I need to call Ms. Patricia Silva, as stated in the report, also let me know.
