Dear Sir:
In Reference (c), you requested that Yankee provide commitments to meet regulatory positions C.5, 6, 7, 8 and 10 of Regulatory Guide 1.58 (Revision 1) and Regulatory Guide 1.146 ( Augus t, 1980).
Subsequently, Reference (d) requested that YAEC provide a major revision to our Quality Assurance Topical Report, YOQAP-1-A.
This revision will respond to the staff specific questions and will reflect commitments, as applicable, to the 17 Regulatory Guides identified therein, of which 1.158 and 1.146 are J
included.
Our response to the latter request is in preparation and will address the regulatory guides of Reference (c).
It is expected that this response will be completed prior to January 1,1982.
This period is necessary to provide for an adequate review of the impact of the identified regulatory guides upon our existing QA program and development of a program for implementation of these guides or appropriate portions thereof.
