Pursuant to our earlier commitnent, we herewith transmit a brief status re-port on the major items key to the implementation of the upgrade rule plan.
The information is as follows:
1.
PA BARRIER - HIGH BAY AREA Dem711 tion, removal, and relocation work continues of piping, utilities, and equioment which is required prior to start of construction. (Job is 1% complete) 2.
WEST VAULT Demolition, removal, and relocat n of utilities and interfer-ing facilities and equipment is complete. Excavation and soil compaction is complete, and drilling for the caisson piles is underway.
(Job is 7% complete) 3.
CAS Demolition, removal, and relocation of utilities and interfer-ing facilities and equipment is complete. Excavation for ground beams and foundations is complete.
(Job is 5% complete) 4.
PA - EECP Demolition, re2 oval, and relccation of utilities and interfering facilities and equipment is complete. Excavation and soil com-paction is complete, and drilling for the caisson piles is com-plete.
Installation of reinforcing steel is in progress.

CENERAL Rearrangement and relocation of fuel fabrication equipment and facilities is underway. The Emergency Generator, balanced mag-netic switches, emergency doors, bullet resistant doors, attack-resistant door, and interior microwave detectors are all on order.
Design of the intrusion alarm and CCTV systems continues.
De-sign is underway of other facilities and structures made neces-sary by the upgrade but located outside the PA.
About 50% of the budgeted funds have been spent or committed.
