This is a Severity Level V Violation. (Supplement VII) 4 , s B.1. License Condition 13A. requires that each sealed source containing c;g licensed material, other than Hydrogen-3 with a half life creater 1 than thirty days and in any forn other than gas shall be tested -l' f-for leakage and/or contamination at intervals not to exceed six nonths. r,... v. Contrary to the above requirement, leak tests which were conducted nn July 9,1970 on the eleven licensed sources were not repeated until ? . JUL 101981 Contrary to the above requirement, the results of leak tests conducted on July 9,1979 were unavailable at the time of the inspection. This is a Severity Level VI Violation. (SupplementVII) Pursuant to the provisions of 10 CFR 2.201, the Navy Technical Training l Center, San Fraa:isco, California, is hereby required to submit to this office within thirty days of the date of this notice, a written statement or explanation in reply, including: (1) the corrective steps which have been taken and the results achieved; (2) corrective steps which will be taken to avoid further items of noncompliance; and (3) the date when full compliance will be achieved. Considerations may be given to extending your respense time for good cause shown.
