October 9, 1980, and, October 10, 1980 - December 9, 1980. All of the line items on the atave SNM inventory reports were traced to the source documents and cross-checked to the records maintained by the licensee and to the 00E-NHSS computer tabulations. A partial review was performed of the Nuclear Mate-rial Transaction Reports (Form NRC-741) cocumenting receipts and shipments for the physical inventory material balance periods from November 27, 1979 - August 6, 1980. All of the Form NRC-741s issued for the physical inventory material balance periods from August 7, 1980 - December 9, 1980 were reviewed as well as measured discards and loss reports, for proper signature, timeliness, format and accuracy of content. The Material Status Reports (Form NRC-742) submitted for the periods ending March 31, 1980 and September 30, 1980 were also re-viewed in the same manner. No discrepancies were noted.
The licensee reconciled and adjusted the book inventory to the results of each physical inventory within 30 days after the start of each physical inventory.
3 The' inspectors also determined that the licensee was controlling the
- shipment of SNM to authorized receivers by maintaining a current copy
-of the transferee's license.
