120h7 This letter is an interim 50 55(e) report concerning operation of the Reactor Cavity Cooling System. On June 16, 1981, consumers Power reported by telephone call to Cecil Jones of USNRC Region III that a potentially reportable situation existed relative to this system. Further analysis has shown that the operating procedures must be revised to assure that the reactor operator can verify that the structural concrete is within the allowable temperature limits. The required procedural changes cannot be developed in detail until additional engineering analyses are completed.
Another report, either interim or final, vill be submitted on er before October 31, 1981.
