Dear Mr. Keppler:
The purpose of this transmittal is to update information provided in Reference (1) relative to the subject motor terminal block modification program.
The current schedule is delineated below:
Phase I:
Inspection Unit 1:
Complete by July 27, 1981 Unit 2:
Complete by September 22, 1981 Phase II:
Installation of bolted, lug L lug taped termination Unit 1:

As of June 19, 1981, 179 (50%) ot the Limitorque Valve
/h Controls in Unit I had been inspected.
Of the 179 inspected, 136 will require the motor circuit terminal block to be replaced with a
-bolted lug to lug taped termination.
These initi'.ol results led to the extended installation schedule.
A follow-up report on the progress of the replacement effort on Unit I will be submitted by September 15, 1981.
At that time the impact if any on the expected fuel load date for Unit 1 will be addressed.
