LICENSE RENEWAL-APPLICATION, BABC0CK & WILC0X COMMERCIAL NUCLEAR FUEL PLANT, DOCKET 70-1201 The license renewal application of the Babcock & Wilcox-Connen:1al Nuclear Fuel Plant (CNFP), (Docket 70-1201) has been received and our review has begun.
The review schedule has been prepared, along the lir;es of the " Agreement on Interface and Division of Responsibility Between NMSS and I & E," with the
" Plan for Licensing Review and Inspections Related to Major Licensing Actions for Fuel Cycle Facilities," which is footnoted in the Interface Agreement.
Major milestones in our review schedule include the following:

Issue renewal 4-23-82 We should like your comments and recommendations on the renewal applicat'm,
_ notification of your scheduled, inspections of the CNFP, and, in general, to
_ take the action required by the Plan to meet the above scheduled milestones.
As the review progresses, we shall be in contact with you to coordinate specific activities (e.g., request to accompany I&E members on inspections, discussion with licensee on the application, meeting to discuss proposed licence conditions).
