requires consu=ers Power Company to determine whether these species are present in the vicinity of the Midland Plant in either the source water or receiving water and to take appropriate action accordingly.
Consumers Power Co=pany contracted Ecological Analysts, Inc to survey the Midland Plant environnent for the presence of Corbicula. Mytilus is a salt water species and therefore not included in this assessment. No Corbicula was observed at the Midland Plant site. A report pertaining to the survey conducted at the Midland Plant is included as Attachment A.
Based en the discussion and results of attachment, we consider the action required by this bulletin to be complete.
