Re: WM. H. ZIMMER NUCLEAR POWER STATION - UNIT 1 IE BULLETIN 81-02, DOCKET No. 50-358 W.O. 57300, JOB E-5590 Gentlemen:

This letter is our response to your letter of April 9, 1981 which requested a written response to IE Bulletin No. 81-02. ,

We have investigated all pertinent documents concerning gate-type valves purchased for the Wm. H. Zimmer Nuclear Power Station - Unit 1. We have found that neither the Westinghouse EMD valve nor the Borg-Warner NVD gate valve has been purchased or supplied to the Zimmer Project. Since none of the affected valves were furnished to the Zimmer Plant,we plan to take no further action relative to IE Bulletin No. 81-02.
