Inadequate Construction Controls Concerning Electrical Raceway Hanger Installation Please reference my letter U-0231, Ll4-81(05-06)-L dated May 6, 1981 concerning progress in corrective action associated with the electrical hanger installation at Clinton Power Station.
Since my last letter, we have issued aad implemented procedures for the drafting and review of as-built drawings, defined the construction to ensure that travelers are developed for each hanger, and ensured that changes are made to travelers only after an engineering approval.
In addition, we are continuing the l
development and implementation of the computer tracking system which will ensure that affecting documents (i.e., ECN's, FCR's, etc.) are listed and incorporated as applicable.
We expect to submit a final report on this matter by the end of August 1981.
